Junior Spring Camp, Summer Camp, and Adult Lessons Headline Hillcrest’s 2026 Tennis Lineup
North York, Canada – April 18, 2026 / Hillcrest Tennis Camp /
Hillcrest Tennis Camp has announced the official launch of three distinct 2026 programs at its North York courts: a Junior Spring session, Adult Group Lessons, and a Junior Summer Camp. The announcement reflects a structured expansion of programming under the leadership of Head Coach Roshun, a former Davis Cup player, and Director Peter Nielsen, a Tennis Canada National Coach with more than 40 years of experience in player development.
Three Programs Designed for Different Stages of Development
The 2026 lineup addresses a broad range of players at varying stages of development. The Junior Spring session is structured for younger athletes working on foundational skills, while the Junior Summer Camp at the tennis camp North York facility offers an intensive warm-weather training environment for players seeking accelerated development. Adult Group Lessons round out the offerings, providing recreational and competitive adult players a structured path to skill improvement.
Each program is built around specific developmental objectives. The Junior Spring and Summer Camp tracks focus on technical skill-building, match play, and physical conditioning suited to youth athletes. The adult programming centers on stroke mechanics, court strategy, and consistent play within a group format that accommodates varying skill levels.
Coaching Staff Brings Competitive and Instructional Depth
The programs are led by two coaches with complementary backgrounds. Head Coach Roshun competed at the international level as a Davis Cup player, bringing direct experience from professional match environments to his instructional approach. Director Peter Nielsen holds a Tennis Canada National Coach designation and has spent more than four decades working with players across age groups and ability levels.
“With over 40 years of coaching and a team that includes Davis Cup experience, our 2026 programs are built to deliver measurable progress for every player – whether they are picking up a racket for the first time or training competitively,” said Peter Nielsen, Director of Hillcrest Tennis Camp.
That combination of competitive history and certified instruction underpins both the junior tennis lessons Toronto families are enrolling their children in and the adult-focused programming offered at the same facility.
Registration Now Open for 2026 Sessions
All three 2026 programs are currently open for registration. The Junior Spring session and Junior Summer Camp are designed for players aged 5 to 17, with groupings organized by age and skill level to ensure appropriate pacing and development. The adult tennis lessons Toronto players can access through Hillcrest are offered in group formats, with scheduling designed to accommodate working adults.
The Hillcrest Tennis Camp facility is located in North York, with courts accessible to families throughout the Toronto area. Program sizes are kept limited to maintain coaching ratios that support individual attention within group settings.
